The future of garment care is wet cleaning

Professional Wet Cleaning

Advanced water-based garment care. A modern alternative to conventional dry cleaning.

The shirts, suits, dresses and delicate pieces you would normally take for dry cleaning, cleaned by professional wet cleaning. Oasis Dry Cleaning & Laundry uses professional wet cleaning only; it does not use conventional solvent dry cleaning.

What professional wet cleaning is

Professional wet cleaning is a specialised, water-based way of cleaning garments that would otherwise go to a dry cleaner. It is not the same as washing at home. Professional wet-cleaning machines run controlled programmes that set the water, temperature and movement for the fabric; professional detergents are chosen for the job; and the garments are dried and finished with professional equipment.

It is an alternative to conventional dry cleaning, which cleans with solvents instead of water. Oasis does not use conventional dry-cleaning solvents.

How we clean your garment

Every garment is different. We follow a careful process to make sure it gets the right care.

  1. Step 1: Assess

We read the care label and check the fabric, lining, trims and marks to determine whether the garment is suitable for wet cleaning.

  2. Step 2: Treat

We assess and treat marks using appropriate professional stain treatments.

  3. Step 3: Clean

We select a controlled professional wet-cleaning programme suited to the garment.

  4. Step 4: Dry & finish

We use controlled drying and professional finishing, followed by a final quality check.
